We celebrate the concept of a “fearless leader” and yet, to feel fear is to be human. While our “fearless” leaders might appear confident, calm, and in control, they might be nervous, anxious, or scared beneath the surface, because they are in fact courageous.

We need to talk about this more because if we wait until we are fearless before taking action, we might be waiting forever.
